Deanna Sukkar

Deanna Christina Sukkar obtained her MLIS degree at the University of Washington's Information School in June 2007. Prior to this, she studied in France for 18 months and received her BA in European Studies at the UW Jackson School of International Studies.

A professional chef for twelve years, a published writer, and a passionate traveler and photographer, she wasn't quite sure what a podcast was when she enthusiastically agreed to produce the show back in 2005. Since then, she has created podcasts for the Journal of Web Librarianship, The Information School, and a tour podcast of the Seattle Public Library.

Currently, Deanna is working as a biographical researcher for a Northwest author and is a podcast consultant. Deanna can be reached at dsukkar@u.washington.edu
